Our history
Stefan Schüffler and Dominik Faber found softgarden in Saarbrücken to develop websites. From 2003 onwards, they concentrate fully on the development of applicant management software.
Today, softgarden, together with the 2021
acquired in 2021, absence.io, a provider of internal HR process solutions, has over 3,500 customers. softgarden is active in the DACH region and other European markets.
Our most important milestones
Since its foundation, softgarden has gone through many stages – from a start-up with a clear idea to a leading provider in the field of digital recruiting. Each milestone represents a decisive step that has shaped our solutions, our team and our reach.
2003
Foundation and specialisation
In 2003, Stefan Schüffler and Dominik Faber founded softgarden in Saarbrücken. Two years later, the focus shifts fully to applicant management software – the foundation stone for today’s all-in-one recruiting solution.
2005
Breakthrough with the first major customer
With O2 Germany, softgarden wins its first well-known customer. In the first year alone, over 1000 new team members are hired with our software.
2014
Reach through multiposting
The merger with 1000jobboersen.de gives our customers the opportunity to publish job adverts simultaneously on over 300 job portals – simply, quickly and with maximum visibility.
2019
Growth and recognition
In 2019, softgarden is honoured with the HR Excellence Award as the best HR software. At the same time, our customer base grows to over 1000 companies across Europe.
2022
A strong partner for the future
Since 2022, softgarden has been part of Grupa Pracuj, a leading HR tech company in Europe. We remain independent and invest with even more tailwind in innovation and expansion.
