On Saturday 24th of May 2014, the largest German trade fair for women, Women & Work, took place in Bonn for the fourth time. Around 100 top employers turned up to answer questions on the topic of women and careers and offered visitors an excellent opportunity to network and acquire new contacts. For women, it was a great occasion to learn more about careers and to discover opportunities in the individual companies that were present.

Visitors attended Women & Work to find out more about the visiting companies, to network, to put themselves forward as employees or simply as prospective customers keeping up to date on current professional affairs. Apart from the live talks, there was also the possibility of smaller interviews with the employers. The talks offered a great opportunity for attendees to introduce themselves directly to the heads of companies, as well as gaining personal insights and views on the respective corporate cultures.

From Business Graduates to Returning Managers

The fair offered diverse discussions on careers, informal ‘Slams’ and motivational talks at “Mentoring 4 Minutes”. The event was rounded off with many high-level panel discussions and lectures, underlining the credibility, competence and professionalism of the fair.

Due to the diversity of attendees, from business graduates to industry returners, lively discussions were sparked in a professional and level atmosphere. femalemanagers were there in order to promote our site to the heads of some of the best known medium to large size companies, we thank all participants for their stimulating discussions, and of course the organizers for putting together this very exciting event.
