According to the hype, mobile recruiting is the trend for recruiting and online application this year. Anyone not adapting the jobs on their website for mobile devices will be left behind, lost in the abyss with lower google rankings and less applicants. Or will they? We decided to put the question to our clients to see if it’s true, or just blah blah.
Through our ongoing survey we discovered that applicants still favour big screens when they look for jobs and apply online. Only 1/3 would prefer to apply via smartphone/tablet. Despite this however, the vast majority would like to just search for jobs with their smartphones and track their application status after having sent an online application.
